A cleaning company needs specific property information to assess an enquiry. A short brief helps hosts and local partners identify what still needs discussing. Use this checklist to prepare your request; it does not replace a property visit or an individual quotation.

1. Location and accessibility

Give the town and property location, floor, lift availability and parking options. Share the exact address directly with the selected company when needed.

2. Size and layout

Provide the approximate floor area and number of bedrooms, bathrooms and other areas to be cleaned. Mention a terrace or balcony if you want them included.

3. Requested tasks

Describe the work, such as cleaning between guest stays, changing bed linen or additional window cleaning. State clearly which tasks you want included and excluded.

4. Timing and frequency

Specify the preferred date and the time available between departure and the next arrival. Distinguish one-off work from recurring needs and ask about availability.

5. Supplies and special requirements

Agree who provides cleaning products, equipment and linen. Highlight delicate surfaces, special care instructions or areas that should not be entered.

6. Access and completion updates

Agree a contact person, key handover and how completion will be reported. Share access codes and private guest information only through an appropriate direct channel.

Ask the company to confirm the scope, any additional charges and the date in writing. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. You agree the work directly with the provider; this checklist is not a service offer or quotation from Porta Solis.
