Connect your calendar in five steps

Import: Porta Solis reads occupied dates from an external iCal link. Export: another provider reads the date ranges you entered manually in Porta Solis. Embed: display your calendar on your own website; this does not create another connection to booking platforms.

1Register for free and sign in

Register or sign in. If needed, add an internal property and open its availability calendar.

2Copy the iCal link

Copy the iCal export link for the correct property from your provider. Do not use the ordinary listing URL or calendar webpage address.

3Connect your calendar

Paste the link into one of the maximum three external calendar slots in Porta Solis and save. Check that it is the correct property and avoid duplicate sources.

4Check occupied dates

Check the displayed update time and imported dates. Use the existing manual refresh if needed. If an error appears, check the source link first.

5Share or embed your calendar

To export, copy your existing Porta Solis iCal link and add it as an import at the other provider. To embed, use the existing embed code on your website and enable the calendar display you want. Do not regenerate existing links.

Guides for Airbnb, Booking.com & other providers

Airbnb: open the property’s calendar and look for calendar connections in availability settings to find the export link. Booking.com: look for calendar synchronisation or connections and an export link in the property’s Extranet. iCal availability depends on the property and setup; contact Partner Support if the option is missing. Vrbo: use the property’s calendar sync controls in the host dashboard to export or import. Other providers: use a valid iCal/ICS subscription link containing individual occupied date ranges.

Important synchronisation information

Important: iCal is not a real-time channel manager. Delays can occur; also check availability with the original provider before confirming a booking. Porta Solis does not automatically re-export imported dates. An Airbnb booking imported into Porta Solis therefore does not reach Booking.com through the Porta Solis export. Connect original providers directly where necessary and avoid circular connections. Keep private calendar links confidential. The existing Porta Solis importer does not support recurring event series.

Connected calendars are fetched automatically at regular intervals. Fetches are currently scheduled hourly. iCal does not guarantee real-time synchronisation.

Do I need a paid package?

No. The calendar is always free for registered hosts. A package is needed for a public property listing.

Will my internal property become public?

No. Adding an internal property does not publish a listing. Sharing a calendar view is separate.

Are all imported dates exported again?

No. The Porta Solis export contains manually entered date ranges, not imported dates.
